The Team
Madeleine Mcleod
Madeleine Mcleod completed her Immigration Consultant Diploma at Ashton College back in July 2019. She moved out to Vancouver to expand her horizons in the field of immigration at Perez Mckenzie Immigration Inc.
She has a B.A. in Spanish Studies from the University of Winnipeg, MB. She later lived for a short time in Mexico to learn more about her Mexican heritage and to spend quality time with her family.
Madeleine previously worked for the Manitoba provincial government and later on for the federal government (The Canadian Museum for Human Rights), she learned the devastations that many people face in the world today. With her training at the CMHR she developed the skills for communication and most importantly empathy.
As the founder of New Tierra Immigration, Madeleine always ensures she is providing her clients with the utmost care and excellence to help make their dreams a reality. Madeleine loves spending quality time with her young daughter and husband by the Pacific Ocean when she is not working.
Darya Stefanyshen
Darya Stefanyshen Is a licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant certified to practice in the Immigration Field. She graduated from Ashton College obtaining the Immigration Consultant Diploma in 2021.
Her credentials include a BCom (Hons.) and a post-secondary Diploma in Leadership. In the year 2000, she made the life-changing decision to immigrate to Canada and has been happily living in Winnipeg, MB for the last 24 years.
While volunteering at Success Skill Centre – a non-profit, government-funded agency dedicated to helping new immigrants get acquainted with the workforce and environment in Canada – she discovered her passion for helping immigrants to be successful in their quest to make Canada their new home. Her 15+ years of experience in financial, accounting, and business consulting roles, has given her the tools to approach the immigration field with a broader vision of making her clients succeed in their work and business endeavors.
